Job Description

Senior / Business Unit Manager - Healthcare, based onsite in Clinton, MA

 

As the Senior / Business Unit Manager at Jabil, you will assume full P&L responsibilities, overseeing all aspects of the healthcare business unit's operations. Your primary focus will be on driving customer satisfaction, optimizing manufacturing output, and leading negotiations to ensure profitability and growth. The Senior / Business Unit Manager is the leader of the workcell and is accountable for the operational and financial performance of that workcell.

 

What can you expect to do? 

  • P&L Management: Take ownership of the business unit's financial performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability targets.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms and agreements that align with business objectives.

  • Manufacturing Operations: Provide strategic direction and oversight to manufacturing operations, maximizing efficiency, quality, and output.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the business unit's success and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies across all operations.

  • Influence: Use effective communication and interpersonal skills to convince others to accept ideas or goals (with or without the formal authority of a higher position); Able to gain agreement and commitment from others to support and implement methods or processes.


What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Masters Degree preferred.
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting, or Business Management preferred.
  • 6-8+ years work-related experience required in Financial or Manufacturing Operations fields.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with full P&L responsibility, preferably in the healthcare manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal-making.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
