AIS POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:                               QC Inspector

                                           FLSA:                                           Non-Exempt                                                                                                                                     

REPORTS TO:                                     Vanessa Torres   

FUNCTION:

  • Relative visual inspection of company product verifying conformance to order specific paperwork using established sampling plans, color/fabric samples and aesthetic requirements.  Verify size and quantity of product presented for inspection for conformance to order.  Minimal computer skills required.  Shop Math.   Individually inspect each small part of negligible weight in each lot, following simple verbal instructions. Use direct reading gauges to separate good and defective parts.

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Visual & dimensional inspection of company product to drawing, production paperwork & quality standards.
  • Knowledge of the use of handheld measuring instruments a plus. Knowledge of reading blueprints a plus.
  • Knowledge of welding operations a plus.
  • Will record data and enter reports. High level of accuracy and attention to detail required.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to work overtime hours needed to complete job.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.
  • Must be neat and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work OT is also required. Previous Inspection experience is a plus.
