Intake Coordinator, 32hr Nights

Join us as an Overnight Intake Coordinator for TaraVista & MiraVista!

Full Time 32 Hours including every other weekend.

The Overnight Intake Coordinator, under the supervision of the Chief Intake Officer and the Directors of Intake, is responsible for facilitating the admission process. As a member of the Intake and Admissions team the Overnight Intake Coordinator is responsible for screening admission referrals for both facilities, accepting patients for both facilities, providing exceptional customer service to referral sources, and verifying insurance eligibility. This is a 32 hour position which includes every other weekend and three weeknights on a rotating schedule. The position is located at TaraVista while the position requires accepting patients for both TaraVista and MiraVista.

• Screening and accepting referrals based on The Vista's admission criteria.

• Verifying insurance eligibility.

• Providing exceptional customer service to referral sources.

• Tracking discharges and admissions.

• Entering data into Excel spreadsheets.

• Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Intake Officer.

Successful Intake Coordinator candidates will have the following:

• CPR certification required.

• Previous psychiatric/substance inpatient experience preferred.

• Previous Intake/Admissions experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of Behavior Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities.

• Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Medical Record.

• Crisis management and time management skills.

• Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner.
